Fun and Interactive West "A" Health Fair  

The West "A" Health Fair was deemed a fun and interactive event for the whole neighborhood.  On June 13th the community was able visit interactive booths about health, nutrition, exercise, safety, and many other fun topics. Highlights included a High Voltage Safety Demonstration from Lincoln Electric System, face painting and balloon creations from Clowning Around and a visit from Homer the Saltdog. Participants were impressed with the amount of information gained from the various vendors that came to share their resources and hand out prizes.  See the list of vendors below.

Participants were asked to fill out a passport to better health in order to have their name added to the drawing for door prizes.  The winners included - Arlene Geer - $50.00 Russ's Market Gift Card, Caitlynn Abraham - $20.00 Russ's Market Gift Card, CJ Cihal - Kid's Summer Gift Basket, Rebecca Hallgren - Set of 6 TV Trays, Lucy Weitzel - Back Pack and Battery operated toothbrush, and Velicity Sundling - Battery operated toothbrush and water bottle.
