About our Board of Directors
Ryan Hernandez, Board Chair
Ryan Hernandez is the Director of Sales and Business Development for Lincoln Industries. He has been a part of the LI team since 2022. Ryan grew up in Ogallala, NE and is a Army Veteran. He was introduced to Willard through a former board member Kassy Knudson and has been apart of the Willard board since 2022. Ryan has always found community service important and Willard is a great opportunity to give back.
Irene Delozier, Vice Chair
Irene is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Human Resources for Filament Essential Services (FES). She has worked for FES and the family of companies for 34 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from College of St. Mary’s where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1995. She obtained her CPA certificate in 1998 and is a member of the Nebraska Society of CPA’s. She and has been part of Willard since 2008. She is passionate about her work and has dedicated her career to the not-for-profit world. She is passionate about Willard and the services they provide. She recognizes the impact Willard has had over the years on the community and the children and families who use the services. She is proud to support and be part of FES and Willard Community Center.
Irene was born in Cuba and is fluent in Spanish. At the age of 12, she immigrated to the US with her family. She was the first member of her family to become a naturalized citizen and is proud to be the first person in her family to get a college degree.
Irene values family and supports them in any way she can. She is committed to the community by her involvement in helping many other not for profits throughout Lincoln and surrounding areas.
Joey Mumaugh, Treasurer
I have been a member of the Willard board since 2016. I am passionate about working with non-profits in Lincoln and especially those that work with youth to help them become successful adults. I am a foster parent so I see the advantages to having kids in quality programs with consistent staff members who are caring and supportive. I see the capacity that Willard has and I want to be a part of their growth and development.

Johanna Hannemann
Johanna Hannemann has worked at West Gate Bank since 2004 and is an Assistant Vice President and the Regulatory Compliance and Training Officer. She is a UNL graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Johanna’s family lives in the Coddington and West A area, and her two children attended Roper Elementary, where she is also an active classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement. She has been a member of the Willard Board since 2017. Johanna is grateful for what Willard has to offer her local area’s youth and families, and she enjoys the opportunity to serve and support the organization’s contributions to the community.
Jason Paulk
Jason Paulk has worked at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems since 2020 and is the Sr. Manager of Accounting. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he graduated in 2002. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Management from Concordia University in 2014. He is an active CPA certificate holder and is a member of the Nebraska Society of CPAs. Jason joined the Willard Community Center Board of Directors in 2024 and enjoys giving back to his community. He has lived in the West A neighborhood for 13 years and his two daughters attended the Willard Community Center.
Emily Phelps
Emily Phelps has worked at West Gate Bank since 2010 and is currently the Branch Manager at the 84th and Eagle Crest branch. Emily is active in the LPS community, serving as the Junior Achievement Company Coordinator at West Gate Bank and teaching several classes each year. She is also active in her son’s elementary school PTA. Emily has served on the Willard Community Center Board of Directors for over 10 years, seeing Willard grow throughout the years and she’s excited to see it continue to grow and support the West A community.
Kierstin Reed
Kierstin Reed has served on the Willard Community Center board of directors since 2022. She holds Masters degrees in Public Administration and Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She currently works as the CEO for LeadingAge Nebraska, a non-profit association supporting providers of aging services. She has a long history of working in a variety of human services and governmental settings with over 20 years of leadership experience. Kierstin is a lifelong Lincolnite and her father (Mike Smith) and grandfather (Joseph A. Smith) both previously served on the Willard Community Center board. Kierstin is passionate about non-profit services within the community and is dedicated to ensuring the continued success of Willard into the future.
Adam Rhoads
Adam joined the Willard Board in 2024. He has many years serving in the 'West A' neighborhood through the community organization Mystic Rhoads Productions and as a member of the Roper Elementary PTO. His community work focuses mainly on kids and families in need, helping the neighborhood grow through education, healthy living and community service. Adam and his family live also live in the neighborhood. His wife Johanna is a successful Realtor. Together the are raising two daughters (Park Middle School and Roper Elementary) and twin toddler boys.
Dr. Terry Stentz- PHD, MPH, CPE, CPC
Terry has 25 years of industrial engineering and business ownership experience; 2025 is his 34th year as a university professor in the UNL College of Engineering and the UNMC College of Public Health. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and a retired U.S. Navy Captain. Terry believes in the power of visionary servant leadership and creative teamwork. He is active in the Cornhusker Council BSA and the Wachiska Audubon Society. Terry’s Gallup Strength Finder Traits are Strategic, Learner, Achiever, Individualism, and Arranger. His everyday work passion is mentoring young people to identify and actualize their best skills and talents to achieve high value outcomes.
